Who is Jonny B. Mitchell?

Andre Christian Archer: The Protector

What story would be complete without a love interest?

Why wouldn't the Protector of the Messiah fall in love with his Custody?

Because in "The Collection: 1st Chronicle", that's exactly what happens for Christian, who goes by Andre with his close friends. Being stuck in an unhappy relationship and fearing that's all life has to offer him, he makes a deal with the Host of Love to reveal his Soulmate *tada* Kenny. However, because of the broken taboo of knowing who your soulmate is, Christian is destined not to spend the rest of his life with Kenny. Place on top of that, the partner he is with eavesdrops on the conversation and makes a deal with Abaddon, the demon he sold his soul to for power, to make sure he never loses Christian to anyone else. {Did I mention this guy is destined to become the next Antichrist?}

Christian starts his duties off with a curse and a malediction placed on his existence but despite that, he doesn't change how he feels. He is the best and lead in his Combat Training Team of Protectors, only second to William who disqualified himself. His element of control is fire. He is able to create of psychic link between him and Kenny, with the help of the Host of Intelligence. His weapon of choice is a enchanted katana (that he lends to Kenny) or a crossbow.

And he is based on a guy I knew named Dax; someone who was excited by my presence, happy at my conversation and in love with who I was. The fuse was short lived due to the economy tanking and he left as soon as he came. Christian was born out of that. Someone who was excited at the site of his interest, happy at his company but not immune to the difficulties of relationships and life. He falls into hard drugs (book 3) and the love between them dies. There is infidelity but oddly enough, the flame never goes out.

Forgiveness and patience are the names of this game. If I was to cast Christian in the movie version of The Collection, I would have to say that I first saw him being played by Nate Parker but McKinley Freeman won me over.
